Joliet Admirals Play a Double Header Against Bloomington Bobcats

In the first game of two in a double header the Joliet Admirals lost the lead late in a 3-1 defeat to the Bloomington Bobcats on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Bloomington Bobcats batting in the top of fifth when Jack Butler singled off of Brent Stephens, driving in one run.

Hard Fight Between the Joliet Admirals Who Fell Short Against Southland Vikings

 Despite a 5-run deficit in the sixith inning, Joliet Admirals almost came all the way back, eventually falling 5-4 to Southland Vikings on Wednesday. Joliet Admirals scored four runs in the failed comeback on a singe by Sean Arnold in the seventh, a triple by Arnold in the ninth and a error in the ninth.

Joliet Admirals couldn't keep up with the Southland Vikings early in the game. Southland Viking took the lead in the second inning. 

The Vikings captured the lead in the second inning. Joe curci's sac fly scored one run for the Vikings.

Joliet Admirals scored three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for the Southland Vikings came thanks to an error and a double by Jake Gainer. 

Arnold went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Joliet Admirals in hits.

Southland Vikings collected ten hits. Gainer and Trey Polewski each collected multiple hits for the Vikings.

Joliet Admirals Lose Early to Northwest Indiana Oilmen

 On Friday the Joliet Admirals watched the game slipped away from them when the Northwest Indiana Oilmen scored 3 runs in the first inning. 

Wright singed to center field to start the inning for the Oilmen. Thorn had a line drive that allowed Wright and Jones to score. Then Moore stepped in the box and singled to left field to score Thorn. 

The Admirals were not able to score any runs until the ninth inning. However, the Oilmen scored again in the fourth inning when Sroczynski hit a triple and Wright singled to center field to score him.

Again in the sixth inning the Oilmen were able to get 3 runs making the score 7-0 against the Admirals. 

The admirals were able to get two runs in the bottom of the ninth when Jake Drada and Ben Zordani each drove in one run to lead Joliet Admirals. 

The Northwest Indiana Oilmen had 15 hits in the game. Tyler Scrozynski, Dashon Moore, Jones, Thorn, Amir Wright, and Olund each collected multiple hits for the Oilmen. 

Joliet Admirals Fall Short Against DuPage Hounds

 Joliet Admirals fought back after falling down by four runs in the fifth inning. Their comeback fell just short with the ending score 8-7 defeat by the DuPage County Hounds on Saturday. 

The Hounds scored right away in the first with Cocco singles a line drive to center field and Welch with a single, then Stewart hitting a ground ball and advances to third on an error scoring Cocco and Welch. 

Admirals score just one in the first with Drada hitting a sacrifice fly to center which scored Fleming.

The Joliet Admirals scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by Drada in the fifth, a single by Flummerfelt in the sixth, and a single by Heinlein in the seventh, and in the eighth. 

After DuPage County Hounds scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Admirals answered with their own. The Hounds scored with Tittle doubled off of Jacob Hennessy, driving in one run and there was an error, socring one run. Drada and the Admirals answered with Drada singled off of Charlie Wright, driving in two runs. 

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Joliet Admirals tied things up at 5. Drada's sac fly scored one run for them.

Joliet Admirals had a total of nine hits in the game. Flummerfelt and Zordani each collected multiple hits.

DuPage County Hounds had 11 hits in the ball game. Tittle, Stewart, and Welch each collected multiple hits for the Hounds.
